environmental microbial contamination in a broad range of environments, such as food production, pharmaceutical sites,
and hospital wards. Inspectors and Quality Assurance personnel can use SRK® products for
routine surface monitoring within manufacturing areas, hospital surfaces, and equipment.
Hard-to-reach spots and uneven surfaces are by definition problematic for sanitization and thus need to be accurately screened. Compared with contact plates, swabbing offers many advantages as it enables the collection from these articulated, uneven or irregular surfaces while improving sample recovery, release and avoiding agar residues.
When a microorganism survives in a constantly sanitized ambient, it is often low-counting, making the detection really tricky. SRK® gives you a clear view of your environment's real status: the isotonic solution inactivates sanitizing agents residuals that might be present on the surface at the time of collection.
The SRK® kit is available in a wide range of media, volumes, swab types and number. This allows it to fit any application and the main testing methods as culture and molecular assays.
Choose the sampling probe that best suits your needs: regular FLOQSwabs® and CLASSIQSwabs™, Plastic/viscose applicator, or sponge spatula.
SRK® kits are designed compliant with ISO 18593:2018, ISO 18593:2004, ISO 17604:2003, and EU directive 2001/471/E.C.
Choose between an isotonic solution or a wide range of selective and enrichment broths: Half Fraiser, RVS, BPW 1%, TSB, UNS, and Letheen broth.
